He graduated magna cum laude in law from the University of Genoa and has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2002. In 2003, he earned, cum laude, a Ph.D. in international tax law from the University of Genoa.
Today he is a partner and head of the tax law department at Studio Gattai, Minoli, Partners. He also coordinates the firm’s private client focus team.
He assists Italian and international clients in international taxation, private equity, private wealth management, trusts, and estate planning. He also helps individuals, entrepreneurial families, managers, and consultants in transactions related to generational transition, the reorganization, and protection of their assets and related business groups, with the creation of holding companies and trusts and the finalization of family pacts, with a focus on real estate investments and the structuring of club deal investments. He is ranked as an outstanding tax lawyer by leading legal guides such as Chambers and Legal 500.
He was honored at the LegalCommunity Tax Awards in 2021 (Lawyer of the year tax private equity) and 2020 (Best practice M&A and extraordinary transactions).
He is the author of numerous publications in specialized journals and platforms and regularly participates as a speaker at conferences, industry seminars, and university master’s programs.
He is a member of the scientific committee of Step, the tax & legal committee of Aifi, and the International tax association.
