Mr Allena is a full professor of Tax Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Faculty of Economics and Law, Piacenza campus, where he teaches, among other things, corporate tax law and tax policies for sustainability. At the same University, he teaches taxation of finance and financial products in the faculty of banking, economics, and insurance sciences (Milan campus).
In the Faculty of Economics and Law, he is Chairman of the Law Degree Council, Double Major Law and Economics. He has been an adjunct professor of the course “Taxation and Religions” at the Faculty of Theology in Lugano, Switzerland. He has spent research periods at the “Forschungstelle fuer europaeisches und internationales Steuerrech” at Ludwig Maximilian Universitaet in Munich, and Boston University.
In 2019 Mr Allena was a visiting professor at Boston College.
He is a case lawyer and equity partner of Miccinesi Tax Legal Corporate. He deals professionally and scientifically with issues related to protecting, transmitting, and managing family assets, among others. He is director of the advanced training course organized by Cattolica University in collaboration with Step dedicated to these issues and sits on the board of directors of Cordusio Fiduciaria.
Mr Allena is a member of “CattolicaPer il Terzo settore,” part of the Catholic University, the Scientific Committee of the Public Resources Observatory of the Court of Auditors, and the teaching board of the Agrisystem Agribusiness Doctoral School. He has served on the scientific-technical committee of the National Observatory on the Family.
He devotes himself to his wife, Barbara Lilla, and three children in his spare time.
