He founded Gentili & Partners in 1995. A certified public accountant in Luxembourg and Italy, he worked in financial market law first at Coopers & Lybrand (Pwc) and then at Gemofin Sim and Fiduciaria as CFO. Born in Milan in 1963, he graduated from Bocconi after a formative experience in the Carabinieri Corps.
He has combined professional and entrepreneurial activities in the business services sector, including participating in the Mbo operation of Tmf Group that took place in 2004 and ended in 2018 with the sale to Cvc. He has participated in hundreds of projects in the investment fund and financial intermediation sector and holds board positions in Luxembourg, Italy, and London.
Curious and hungry, he moved to Luxembourg at over 40 to experience firsthand the development of Europe’s leading investment fund marketplace.
A staunch European, he constantly travels between the most important financial centers and has a close-knit family but lives in four different countries.
He has been an Italian French boxing champion, a lover of the noble art, and an ultramarathon runner. In his spare time, he studies Russian, reads, and writes. A workaholic, he needs help understanding the difference between work and hobby. He believes that one can achieve incredible results with focus and determination.
